Seongnam City to open Projectory youth creative space

Seongnam City has announced the official opening of ‘Projectory Seongnam,’ a creative activity space for youth, on November 17. Located on the fourth floor of the Seongnam Culture and Arts Education Center, the facility is a collaborative project between the city and an NC consortium.

The program, managed by the NC Cultural Foundation, is designed as a ‘project-based laboratory’ where young people can realize their own ideas through self-directed activities. Participants will have access to expert support for various creative tasks, including woodworking, coding, project groups, and creative workshops.

The official operation period will run from November 17, 2024, until June 24, 2028. The city is offering free participation for 120 students. Priority recruitment is open to youth residing in Seongnam from 4th grade elementary through 3rd grade high school between September 25 and October 13. Following this, the recruitment will expand to youth in the Seoul metropolitan area starting October 25 until capacity is reached.
