Seongnam high school students join youth journalism camp in China

Two students from Seongnam Foreign Language High School, Yun Ju-eun and Jeon Yu-seon, have been selected to participate in the ‘2026 Korean Youth Journalists China Trip’ camp. Hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Korea and organized by the Korea-China Economic Culture Education Association and the Korea Chinese Language Teachers Association, the program aims to promote youth exchange and deepen understanding of Chinese society.

The camp involves 26 students from across South Korea and three instructors traveling to Wuhan and Shenzhen. In Wuhan, participants will visit the Hubei Humanoid Robot Innovation Center and Xiaomi to observe advanced technology and industrial development. In Shenzhen, students will engage in cultural exchanges with local middle school students on the theme of the Asia-Pacific future and visit the electric vehicle and new energy company BYD to experience China's growing future industries.
