Seosan City to host 6th Seosan Hanwoo Festival

Seosan City will hold the 6th Seosan Hanwoo Festival from October 30 to 31 at the Seosan Livestock Comprehensive Center in Eumam-myeon. The event aims to promote the excellence of Seosan Hanwoo beef and highlight the value of the local livestock industry.

Visitors can purchase livestock products and use a 300-seat on-site grilling area. The festival features a variety of programs, including cultural performances such as traditional percussion, Nanta, and saxophone ensembles. Interactive activities include OX quizzes, Hanwoo auctions, a citizen singing contest, and hands-on workshops like handmade ham, traditional Korean confectionery, and pottery making.

Food-related events will include traditional tea tastings and samples of roasted eggs and honey. Additionally, the festival will offer opportunities to learn about livestock-related professions through introductions and consultations, aiming to boost Hanwoo consumption and regional interest in the industry.
