Seoul districts issue local gift certificates for Chuseok
Several districts in Seoul are issuing local gift certificates to alleviate household expenses and stimulate local economies ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
Geumcheon-gu is issuing 4.6 billion won worth of certificates. This includes 600 million won in ‘Geumcheon Ttaenggyeo-yo’ certificates, available at a 15% discount via the SeoulPay+ app for use on the ‘Ttaenggyeo-yo’ delivery app. Additionally, 4 billion won in ‘Geumcheon G Valley Love’ certificates will be issued on September 15, offering a 5% discount and a potential 5% payback.
Gwangjin-gu is issuing a total of 10.5 billion won in certificates. A 500 million won ‘Gwangjin Ttaenggyeo-yo’ issuance on September 1 will feature a 15% discount and a 5% payback program. On September 16, the district will issue 10 billion won in ‘Gwangjin Love’ certificates at a 5% discount. These can be used at various local merchants through the SeoulPay+ app.
