Seoul districts launch AI training programs for entrepreneurs and small businesses
Seoul districts Gangnam and Songpa are launching specialized AI training programs to bolster local economic competitiveness.
Gangnam-gu is recruiting 30 early-stage entrepreneurs (within three years of founding) for a 10-week AX (AI Transformation) and investment attraction course. Running from September 29 to December 1, the free program focuses on using AI for business automation, data management, and product development. The course concludes with an IR Day on December 15, allowing participants to present their business models to professional investors.
Songpa-gu, in collaboration with the Songpa-gu Small Business Association, is offering an 8-week free digital competency program for local small business owners. Starting September 7, the training will teach participants how to use smartphones and AI tools for product photography, short-form video production, and social media marketing on platforms like TikTok and YouTube. The program aims to help merchants adapt to increasing online consumer trends.
