Seoul E-Land climbs to second in K League 2 after draw with Paju

Seoul E-Land reclaimed second place in the K League 2 following a 1-1 draw against Paju Frontier at Mokdong Stadium. Paju took an early lead in the second half through a goal by Lee Je-ho, capitalizing on a defensive error by Baek Ji-ung.

Seoul E-Land responded in the 59th minute when Park Jae-yong scored after a header from Kim Hyun was parried by the goalkeeper. Despite intense late pressure from E-Land, the match ended in a stalemate. The result leaves Seoul E-Land with 41 points, moving them ahead of Suwon FC (40 points) and trailing leaders Suwon Samsung by three points.

Ahead of the match, Seoul E-Land manager Kim Do-kyun noted that while a victory would have marked his 100th career win, his primary focus remains on securing promotion. The team currently holds a seven-match unbeaten streak.
