Seoul Facilities Corporation to provide mobility support for Chuseok grave visits

The Seoul Facilities Corporation has announced a specialized bus service to assist families with disabilities in visiting ancestral graves during the Chuseok holiday. The service, utilizing the ‘Outing Companion Bus’ program, will operate from September 10 to September 23.

Three small specialized Solati buses equipped for wheelchair users will be deployed. Each vehicle features two wheelchair spaces and six standard seats, allowing for a maximum of eight passengers per bus. The service is designed to transport users from Seoul to various funeral and memorial facilities within the Seoul metropolitan area, including Gyeonggi and Incheon.

To be eligible, applicants must be users of the disabled taxi service and include at least one person using a wheelchair along with at least one other family member or companion. Reservations for the service will open on August 24 via the Seoul Public Service Reservation Portal.
