Seoul police seek detention for woman who blocked Olympic Park voting venue
Seoul's Songpa police filed a pre‑trial detention warrant for a 30‑year‑old woman, dubbed “Ol Dalk”, accused of obstructing entry to the handball arena used as a vote‑counting site during the June 3 local elections. She held the door for more than an hour despite mediation, prompting a charge of business‑interference.
The investigation also covered other illegal acts at the venue: a 30‑year‑old man alleged to have conducted an unlawful search of the junior women’s handball national team, and three suspects charged with trespassing and damaging the arena’s mechanical‑room door on June 7. Police said all cases would be pursued rigorously under the law.
