Seoul to host Marvel-themed drone light show at Ttukseom Hangang Park

The Seoul Metropolitan Government will host its final drone light show of the year on October 31 at Ttukseom Hangang Park. Titled ‘MARVEL Special’, the event will feature a record-breaking 2,000 drones performing for 15 minutes to depict iconic Marvel characters, including Iron Man, set to music.

To enhance the visitor experience, the city is organizing various side events, such as costume parades and themed photo zones related to the upcoming ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. The event also aims to boost the local economy through collaborations, including a ‘Seoul Farmers Market’ near Jayang Station and food delivery discount coupons provided in partnership with Baedal Minjok.

In anticipation of large crowds due to the Halloween timing, the city plans to deploy additional safety personnel and increase subway services at Jayang Station. The drone show is part of Seoul's broader initiative to develop the Han River as a premier global night tourism destination.
