Seoul woman dies after 514 assaults by boyfriend
A 28-year-old woman, identified as Lim Jandi, died in Seoul's Gangseo district following a brutal assault by her boyfriend, a man surnamed Jeon. Emergency services responded to a call on June 20 after Jeon reported that his girlfriend had lost consciousness in their basement apartment.
An autopsy revealed that the victim suffered 21 broken ribs and severe damage to vital internal organs. Security camera footage captured Jeon assaulting Lim 514 times over a period of 3 hours and 20 minutes, using his hands, feet, and a rubber hammer.
