Seoul's COEX launches AI Summit and Max Summit 2026

The Korea International Exhibition Center (COEX) in Seoul hosted two major AI-focused events in August 2026. The AI Summit Seoul & Expo ran from August 19‑21, expanding 150% from the previous year with 125 companies and 300 booths showcasing AI solutions across manufacturing, logistics, finance, healthcare, and more. Global firms such as Seagate, Adobe, Oracle, HP and Genspark participated, and the exhibition featured hands‑on AI and robotics demo zones. Speakers included KAIST professor Kim Dae‑sik, Meta‑originated Jack Chua, and executives from Seagate and other tech leaders.

Earlier in the month, the Max Summit 2026 took place on August 3‑4, concentrating on AI’s impact on marketing. Around 40 sessions featured Meta, Google, Naver, OpenAI, TikTok and other platform giants. The conference emphasized that in the AI era, competitive advantage shifts from technology to accumulated brand assets and diversified creative content, with AI now handling audience targeting, placement and budget allocation.
