Separate criminal incidents reported in Carpi and Rome

In Carpi, a 29-year-old man has been placed in custody following an investigation into the alleged sexual violence of an 18-year-old woman. In Rome, a 12-year-old boy of Peruvian origin was hospitalized at San Camillo after a violent assault in the Magliana district. Preliminary investigations suggest the attack may have been triggered by the alleged theft of a bicycle, involving a confrontation between the boy and the father of another child.
