Separate incidents involving discovery of fetuses in Brazil

Two distinct incidents involving the discovery of fetuses have been reported in different Brazilian states.

In Ribeirão das Neves, Minas Gerais, employees at a Copasa sewage treatment plant in the Veneza neighborhood discovered a fetus approximately 10 centimeters long during cleaning activities on Monday. Copasa stated they are cooperating fully with the Military Police and Civil Police to investigate the circumstances. The site is located near the BR-040 highway.

In Jaguariúna, São Paulo, a worker on a bicycle discovered a fetus being carried by a dog on Estrada da Servidão. Initial estimates suggest a gestation period of six to seven months. Local authorities, including the Civil Police and forensic teams, are investigating to determine if the case involves an abortion, a stillbirth, or other circumstances.
