Separate incidents reported in Sidoarjo and Palembang

Two distinct incidents have been reported in Indonesia. In Sidoarjo, police detailed a fatal altercation in Waru District involving a coconut water vendor and a man suspected of having a mental disorder. The conflict began when the vendor approached the individual, who was reportedly armed with a sickle. The suspect attacked the vendor, leading to a struggle in which the suspect sustained a head injury and subsequently died.

In Palembang, search and rescue teams located the body of 64-year-old Azawani in the Musi River. The victim, who had jumped from the Musi IV Bridge, was found approximately 2 kilometers from the initial site after a two-day intensive search involving Basarnas, the Indonesian Navy, and local authorities.
