Separate violent discoveries reported in Venezuela and Ecuador

In Anzoátegui, Venezuela, authorities discovered the body of 32-year-old Mariano José Bucarito in the Mundo Nuevo hamlet, located in the Pedro María Freites municipality. The victim was found hidden under a makeshift structure made of branches and banana leaves. Preliminary reports indicate Bucarito suffered severe head trauma caused by a blunt object, such as a pipe. The CICPC Anaco scientific police have launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators and determine the motive.

In Esmeraldas, Ecuador, a human head was found inside a black bag abandoned in the Arenal sector. The remains were identified by a local woman as belonging to 38-year-old Jorge Antonio Carrasco Caicedo. While police have confirmed this discovery, there are unverified reports of a second head being found in the Parada 7 area of the same city. Authorities are working to clarify the circumstances surrounding these findings.
