SEPE warns unemployed over 52 to complete mandatory income declaration

The State Public Employment Service (SEPE) has issued a warning to unemployed individuals over the age of 52 regarding the mandatory annual income declaration required to maintain the 480-euro monthly subsidy.

Failure to complete this procedure within 15 business days of the 12-month deadline can lead to the suspension of both the subsidy payments and Social Security contributions. While the suspension is not necessarily permanent, beneficiaries may lose payments corresponding to the period of suspension. The deadline for this declaration is not fixed for all recipients; it depends on when the right to the subsidy began or was last resumed.
