Sepehran Airlines Boeing 737 makes emergency landing in Mashhad

A Sepehran Airlines Boeing 737 experienced a significant mechanical emergency shortly after departing Mashhad International Airport for Kermanshah. Preliminary reports indicate that a portion of a tire detached during takeoff, which may have led to intense vibrations throughout the aircraft.

These vibrations caused internal damage to the cabin, including the detachment of ceiling panels and the opening of overhead storage compartments, causing luggage to fall. Some reports suggest a subsequent engine failure may have contributed to the severity of the shaking.

The pilot declared an emergency and successfully returned the aircraft to Mashhad. While passengers experienced panic and the cabin interior sustained damage, no injuries were reported. The runway at Mashhad airport was temporarily closed for investigation before reopening.
