A Sepehran Airlines Boeing 737 was forced to make an emergency landing at Mashhad Airport in Iran after experiencing severe technical failures and turbulence. Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft suffered a blown tire and engine damage, necessitating an immediate return to the airport.

During the flight, intense turbulence caused a significant portion of the cabin ceiling to collapse, causing panic among passengers. The aircraft had previously faced technical issues, including two cancellations on September 13 due to mechanical faults.
