Sepp Kuss climbs to fourth in Vuelta a España general classification

Sepp Kuss, riding for Visma-Lease a Bike, moved into fourth place in the general classification of the Vuelta a España following Stage 4. The 104.8-kilometer mountain stage took place in Andorra, where Kuss lives and trains.

After finishing 89th in the opening individual time trial and 35th in Stage 2, Kuss secured a fifth-place finish on Tuesday's mountain stage. This performance moved him from 38th to fourth overall, placing him just 12 seconds behind Enric Mas in the standings.

The stage was dominated by Tadej Pogačar, who launched a decisive attack with 50 kilometers remaining to secure a solo victory. Kuss joined a six-rider chase group that finished 2 minutes and 39 seconds behind the leader. Kuss noted that the team's strategy shifted toward fighting for second place as the race progressed.
