Sepsi OSK signs goalkeeper David Lazar as Poli Timișoara adds midfielder Alexandru Băluță

Goalkeeper David Lazar, 34, terminated his contract with FC Hermannstadt on Wednesday and signed with Sepsi OSK in Sfântu Gheorghe on the same day. Lazar, who has experienced four relegations in his career, recorded 17 league appearances for Hermannstadt last season, conceding 21 goals and keeping five clean sheets. He joins Sepsi OSK alongside recent signing Bogdan Vătăjelu.

Midfielder Alexandru Băluță, 32, ended his brief spell with Turkish side Boluspor after three months and 15 minutes of play. He will sign with Poli Timișoara, a historic Romanian club that earned promotion to the second division this summer. Băluță thanked his former clubs, stating, “Mulțumesc tuturor… Final de poveste,” and expressed his motivation to help Poli return to Liga I.
