Sept-Îles hosts inaugural CF7 Marathon

The inaugural CF7 Marathon in Sept-Îles took place on Sunday, August 23, drawing approximately 140 runners despite windy weather conditions. Organizers from the CF7 Functional Training Centre expressed satisfaction with the turnout for the event's first edition.

To accommodate the race, several local traffic disruptions were implemented, including closures on sections of Avenue Arnaud and specific lanes on Avenue Brochu and Retty. The course utilized the Promenade du Vieux-Quai and the Promenade des Métallos bike path.

Following the success of the marathon, the organizers plan to hold a second edition next year and are preparing for a Hyrox simulation event scheduled for September 12.
