Sept-Îles residents compete on La Poule aux oeufs d'or

Two residents of Sept-Îles, Dave Bérubé and Kathy Poirier, competed against each other on the September 6 episode of the game show ‘La Poule aux oeufs d'or’ broadcast on TVA. Despite being close friends in real life, the two faced off during the same round.

Dave Bérubé secured three eggs, allowing him to pursue the grand prize. After selecting envelope #8, which contained $25,000, he opted to gamble for the contents of the egg. He won an additional $12,000 on top of his $10,000 winnings, leaving him with a total of $22,000. Bérubé stated his intention to use the funds to help his children. Kathy Poirier concluded her participation with $14,000.
