Septemvri and Arda draw 1-1 in Bulgarian league match

Septemvri hosted Arda at the Vasil Levski stadium in the first round of the efbet Liga. The game ended in a 1‑1 draw. Arda took the lead in the 17th minute when Birsen Karagaren scored a spectacular goal after a centre was partially cleared by Martin Hristov and Karagaren struck the ball from the air into the left corner. Septemvri equalised in the 53rd minute when a corner was headed by Pedro Ferreira and the ball rebounded to Sebastian Wade, who finished from close range.

Preslav Georgiev suffered an injury and was forced to leave the field, with Galin Ivanov coming on as his replacement. Both sides had several chances, including missed attempts from set pieces and long‑range shots, but no further goals were scored.
