Septemvri Sofia retained its place in Bulgaria’s efbet Liga by defeating Yantra Gabrovo 2‑1 in the decisive relegation playoff held in Sofia’s Dragalevtsi district. After falling behind, Septemvri turned the match around with goals from Milcho Angelov (42’) and Preslav Georgiev (73’). In injury time, striker Stefan Stoyanovich capitalised on a goalkeeper Christian Vasilev error to complete the comeback.

The victory means Septemvri will compete in the top division for a third straight season, while Yantra remains in the second tier, hoping to return after a 33‑year absence.
