Septicflesh guitarist Christos Antoniou sidelined by injury

Septicflesh guitarist and orchestrator Christos Antoniou will miss the beginning of the band’s upcoming North American tour due to fractured and broken ribs sustained in a fall.

The Greek symphonic death metal band announced that they will proceed with the scheduled tour dates, initially performing as a three-piece while Antoniou focuses on his recovery. The band expressed the goal of having him rejoin the tour later in the run.

The tour, which includes stops across the United States and Canada, is scheduled to run from October 5 in Riverside, California, through mid-November. The lineup features support from Arch Enemy, The Black Dahlia Murder, Crypta, and Thrown Into Exile.
