Sepultura to embark on farewell tour following decision by Andreas Kisser

Sepultura vocalist Derrick Green has revealed that the decision to embark on a farewell tour originated from guitarist Andreas Kisser. Speaking in an interview, Green explained that the band chose to end their activities while still at a high point to avoid declining due to health issues or internal conflicts.

Green noted that the band had been following a repetitive cycle of composing, recording, and touring for many years. He stated that the group wanted to stop while they still found joy in the process and could exit the stage on positive terms.

The band's final concert is scheduled to take place on November 7 in São Paulo, Brazil, at the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu.
