Serafina restaurant faces closure at Vulcano Buono

The historic Serafina restaurant, located within the Vulcano Buono shopping center in Nola, faces potential closure following the unexpected non-renewal of its business branch lease by the mall's ownership.

Sveva Ristorazione srl, the company that owns the Serafina brand, has been operating the venue since the shopping center opened in December 2007. Although the original contract was set to expire on June 30, 2026, the property owners granted an extension until September 15, 2026, while requesting a new commercial and image renewal project.

Despite Sveva Ristorazione investing in professional design proposals to meet these requirements, the shopping center management reportedly expressed an intention not to renew the lease, opting instead to assign the space to a different operator. The company has issued an appeal to the ownership to find a solution that ensures business continuity and protects the 15 jobs currently at stake, as this location is the company's only point of sale.
