Serang City to build 4.6km of roads with Banten support

The Serang City Government has secured support from the Banten Provincial Government to construct five road sections totaling approximately 4.6 kilometers in 2025. These projects include access to Pelabuhan Karangantu-Kasemen, Jalan Pejuang 45, the Kalanganyar village section, Pakupatan-Bendung, and Kasemen-Warung Jaud.

Serang Mayor Budi Rustandi stated that the infrastructure development is intended to support economic, educational, and health activities for the community. According to the Head of the Serang City Public Works and Spatial Planning Department (DPUPR), Iwan Sunardi, the provincial support is expected to continue into 2026, with several additional road sections already planned for development.
