Serang Regency officials socialize new spatial planning regulations

The Serang Regency Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP) is socializing a new Draft Regent Regulation (Raperbup) to 100 local entrepreneurs. The regulation aims to establish legal certainty and provide a framework for administrative sanctions against businesses that violate spatial planning and building regulations.

According to DPMPTSP Head Wawan Ihwanudin, the rules target violations involving building structures, coastal buffers, river buffers, and road buffers. Initial data indicates approximately 430 companies may be subject to these new regulations. The government intends for the rules to provide legal security and legitimacy for businesses while ensuring orderly spatial management.
