Serang Regency PDIP faction issues notes on 2026 budget amendment

The PDIP faction of the Serang Regency DPRD has provided four key observations regarding the 2026 Regional Budget Amendment Draft (Raperda Perubahan APBD). During a plenary session on September 2, 2026, spokesperson Joko Santoso expressed appreciation for the financial note presented by Serang Regent Ratu Rachmatuzakiyah but emphasized the need for more targeted spending.

The faction highlighted several priorities, specifically urging the local government to focus on public service infrastructure, aiming to meet the minimum requirement of 40 percent of the budget for such services. Additionally, the faction raised questions regarding the ability to meet revenue and expenditure targets within the remaining timeframe of 2026, suggesting that current planning within certain regional apparatus organizations (OPD) may require strengthening to ensure transparency and accountability.
