Serang–Panimbang Toll Road enters feasibility testing phase

PT Wijaya Karya Serang Panimbang (WSP) has commenced the Functionality and Operation Feasibility Test (ULFO) for the approximately 24.17-kilometer Rangkasbitung–Cikulur–Cileles section of the Serang–Panimbang Toll Road. This phase is designed to verify technical aspects, safety, security, and service readiness to ensure compliance with established standards before the road is opened to the public.

WSP President Director Puspita Anggraeni stated that the testing phase is a significant milestone aimed at strengthening connectivity and driving economic growth in Banten. Once operational, the segment is expected to improve links between Lebak Regency and economic hubs in Banten and the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek), while expanding access to South Banten.

The project is anticipated to create a multiplier effect by improving mobility and logistics, supporting tourism destinations, and opening new investment and economic opportunities for local communities.
