Actress and singer Serayah McNeill has announced the end of her engagement and relationship with rapper Joey Bada$$ (Jo-Vaughn Virgine Scott), citing repeated infidelity. In a statement shared on Instagram, Serayah explained that she made the difficult decision to prioritize herself after facing a “painful truth” regarding the rapper's unfaithful behavior throughout their relationship.

Serayah, known for her role in the series Empire, also shared video evidence in a now-deleted post, which included a recorded phone conversation that appeared to show Joey Bada$$ discussing their relationship with another woman. She emphasized that her decision was not intended for retaliation but to encourage other women to trust their intuition.

The couple, who began dating in 2023, welcomed their first child together in 2025. Serayah stated that her primary focus moving forward will be protecting the privacy and well-being of their son.
