Serbia and Bosnia announce new economic support and business zone funding

Serbia has announced 10 new economic support programs totaling 3.6 billion dinars. These measures target micro and small enterprises, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and associations. The package includes 860 million dinars in non-refundable funds, 760 million dinars in development fund credits, and 2 billion dinars in subsidized bank loans. Specific programs focus on furniture production, food processing using domestic raw materials, support for returning citizens, and female entrepreneurship.

In the automotive sector, the Serbian Ministry of Economy has signed contracts worth 40.4 million euros in subsidies for four companies: BMTS Technology, Minth Automotive Europe, Minth Metal Parts Balkan, and Xingyu Automotive Lighting Systems. These funds aim to support production automation and the construction of new factories, with commitments to create hundreds of new jobs.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Unsko-sanski Canton has allocated approximately 780,000 KM for the development of business zones in Bihać, Cazin, Ključ, and Velika Kladuša. Projects include improving public lighting, road infrastructure, drainage, and land acquisition to attract new investments and create jobs.
