Serbia and Montenegro win matches at European U18 women's basketball tournament in Stockholm

The Serbian U18 women's basketball team recorded a comeback victory over Latvia, 64‑60, in the second round of Group D at the European Championship in Stockholm. After trailing 32‑49, Serbia rallied with a 7‑0 run to cut the deficit and a final 14‑0 surge to clinch the win. Anastasija Jovanov led Serbia with 17 points.

In Group C, Montenegro defeated Slovenia 74‑72. Milena Vujović contributed 24 points and Marija Sekulović added 23, helping Montenegro overturn an early deficit and secure the win. Both Serbia and Montenegro now hold one win and one loss in the group stage and will face new opponents in the next round of the tournament.

The matches are part of the U18 women's European Championship held in Stockholm, Sweden, with teams from several nations competing for advancement to the knockout phase.
