Serbia and Nepal discuss bilateral cooperation in Belgrade

Dušan Kozarev, Secretary General of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Krishna Prasad Dhakal, Joint Secretary of the Nepalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Belgrade. The meeting took place during a visit by the Nepalese delegation to mark the 65th anniversary of the first conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.

Kozarev expressed condolences to the people and government of Nepal following a natural disaster that caused significant loss of life, noting Serbia's readiness to provide humanitarian assistance. The officials discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation between their respective foreign ministries and highlighted the importance of the ‘World in Serbia’ scholarship program for international students.

During the talks, Kozarev conveyed gratitude for Nepal's consistent support regarding Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Additionally, Nepal confirmed its participation in Expo 2027, to be held in Belgrade.
