Serbia and Republika Srpska cadet chess teams hold first official match

The chess cadet representatives of Serbia and Republika Srpska held their first official match for players under 14 years old in Banja Luka. The event took place at the Administrative Center of the Government of Republika Srpska.

Nemanja Šipka, President of the Chess Federation of Republika Srpska, described the match as a new beginning for high-level cooperation between the two federations. Andrija Jorgić, President of the Chess Federation of Serbia, noted that the meeting establishes a foundation for the future development of chess in the region.

The match featured eight boards and included several champions from both sides. Officials from both chess federations and representatives from the Ministry of Sport attended the event to support the development of young talent.
