Serbia and Uzbekistan sign cooperation agreements on digitalization and environment

Serbia and Uzbekistan have signed multiple memorandums of understanding to strengthen bilateral cooperation in digital governance and environmental protection.

In the realm of digitalization, the Serbian Office for IT and eGovernment and the Uzbek Ministry of Digital Technologies agreed to exchange knowledge regarding e-government development, digital infrastructure, and the application of artificial intelligence to improve administrative transparency and service speed.

Simultaneously, Serbian Minister for Environmental Protection Sara Pavkov signed an agreement with Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, to cooperate on environmental protection and sustainable development. This partnership focuses on nature protection, waste management, water and land resource management, air quality, and climate change response through the exchange of technology and expertise.
