Serbia begins registration for 6,000 dinar one-time financial aid

Registration for a one-time state financial aid of 6,000 dinars for adult citizens of Serbia began on September 7 and will run until September 21. The application process is conducted electronically via the Treasury Administration portal (idp.trezor.gov.rs).

Citizens are divided into two categories regarding the payment process. Those who hold rights under the Law on the Right to Free Shares (Shareholders' Fund) will receive the payment automatically on September 22. This group includes approximately 4.8 million people. Other adult Serbian citizens who do not have this status must submit an online application to receive the funds between September 23 and September 25.

Certain groups, such as pensioners and recipients of monetary social assistance, do not need to apply as they are automatically included in the payout. To qualify, applicants must be adult Serbian citizens with permanent residence in Serbia and a valid ID card. Payments will be processed through Poštanska štedionica. Finance Minister Siniša Mali noted high initial interest, with hundreds of thousands of citizens checking their status or applying within the first hours of the registration period.
