Milica Đurđević Stamenkovski, the Minister for Labor, Employment, Veterans, and Social Issues, led a state wreath-laying ceremony near Šabac to mark the 220th anniversary of the Battle of Mišar. Acting as an envoy for the President of Serbia, she described the battle as one of the most significant victories in the cycle of Serbian uprisings.
During her address, the minister emphasized that the victory was achieved through a combination of bravery, military wisdom, strategic organization, and unity among the insurgents. She noted that the historical legacy of Karađorđe and his fighters serves as an inspiration for future generations to protect the state and its sovereignty.
