Serbia deepens cooperation with Greece on migration and with Bosnia on defence

Serbian Ambassador to Greece Nikola Nedeљković met Greek Minister for Migration and Asylum Tanos Plevris in Athens. The two officials discussed joint actions against illegal migration, human trafficking and smuggling, and reviewed planned changes to Greek legislation aimed at simplifying residence and work permits for Serbian citizens, including students and seasonal workers.

Serbian Defence Minister Bratislav Gashi met Bosnian Deputy Defence Minister Alexander Goganović in Mrkonjić Grad. They talked about expanding defence cooperation, joint military education and training, and the implementation of bilateral defence projects. The meeting coincided with the commemoration of the “Operation Storm” remembrance day, underscoring the importance of regional security and good‑neighbourly relations.
