Serbia defines mandatory winter operating hours for airports

The Civil Aviation Directorate of Serbia has adopted a new regulation defining the mandatory operating hours for airports during the winter flight schedule, effective from October 25, 2026, to March 27, 2027.

Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is designated as the only facility in Serbia required to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Other airports will have restricted mandatory hours but may handle flights outside these windows with prior approval from airport operators.

Specific requirements include: - Niš Konstantin Veliki Airport: Variable daily hours, such as 9:00 to 14:00 on Mondays and 8:00 to 15:00 on Wednesdays. - Vršac Airport: Mandatory operation from 7:00 to 15:00 on weekdays, with no weekend requirement. - Kragujevac Mind Airport: Weekdays from 9:00 to 15:00, closed on weekends unless otherwise announced. - Morava Airport in Kraljevo: Mandatory operation only on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12:00 to 15:00. - Zrenjanin Ečka Airport: Daily operation from sunrise to sunset. - Rosulje (Kruševac) and Ponikve (Užica) airports: Open only upon user request and operator approval.
