Serbia extends electric vehicle subsidies until December 2026
The Serbian government has extended the deadline for applying for subsidies to purchase new electric vehicles until December 1, 2026. The previous deadline was September 30.
Available funds are distributed based on the order of received and valid requests, provided budget resources remain available. The program, which allocated 170 million dinars, offers varying amounts depending on the vehicle category:
• 250 EUR for mopeds and light tricycles. • 500 EUR for electric motorcycles, heavy tricycles, and quadricycles. • Up to 5,000 EUR for new passenger electric cars or light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons.
Eligible applicants include individuals, entrepreneurs, and legal entities. To qualify, the vehicle must be new and not previously registered or used. Applications are submitted electronically through the eUprava portal to the Ministry of Environmental Protection. The subsidy can be used toward a down payment for financial leasing or as part of the purchase price.
