Serbia infrastructure: Road reconstruction projects underway in Vranje and Perlez
Infrastructure projects are underway in various parts of Serbia to improve road safety and local transit. In Perlez, residents are seeing the progress of asphalt paving on Kneza Miloša Street. Local officials noted that the project was a response to community requests and aims to provide a safer environment for pedestrians and cyclists.
In Vranje, Mayor Slobodan Milenković inspected the reconstruction of Partizanski Put, one of the city’s most frequent thoroughfares. This state-funded project, valued at approximately 600 million dinars, is being executed in collaboration with JP Putevi Srbije. The initial phase involves the reconstruction of the first 350 meters, including the removal of old asphalt and curbs, and the installation of new sidewalks and public lighting. Future phases are expected to address more complex infrastructure needs, such as a new sewage network.
