Serbia opens first humanoid robot factory in Šabac
Serbia has established a presence in high-tech manufacturing with the opening of its first humanoid robot factory in Šabac. The facility is a collaborative project between companies Minth and AgiBot, positioning the country among a small group of European nations involved in advanced robotics production.
These humanoid robots are designed with human-like movement and are equipped with artificial intelligence, sensors, cameras, and gyroscopes. They are capable of recognizing faces and voices, navigating human environments, and performing precise tasks.
Planned applications for the technology include elderly care assistance, performing dangerous or monotonous industrial tasks, and supporting military or rescue missions. Future expansion is expected with the planned opening of a large-scale facility in Inđija.
