Serbia Pension Fund releases 2026 pension statistics and calculator

The Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance in Serbia has released updated data and tools regarding pension calculations and distributions. For August 2026, the average monthly pension across all categories was 56,813 dinars. Specific averages varied by category: 59,954 dinars for employees, 51,909 dinars for self-employed individuals, and 24,680 dinars for farmers.

According to the Fund, the highest pension amount for 45 years of service is 286,368.57 dinars, a figure shared by only 93 recipients. Minimum pension amounts for employees and self-employed individuals are set at 31,092.11 dinars, while the minimum for farmers is 24,443.91 dinars. These figures follow a 12.2 percent pension adjustment implemented in December 2025.

To assist future retirees, the Fund provides an electronic calculator via the ‘My Service and Pension’ service. This tool allows users to view their service history and receive a projected pension amount based on recorded parameters. The Fund emphasizes that these results are only approximate projections; the final legal amount is determined by official decisions and can vary based on changes in law, contributions, or average earnings.
