Serbia prosecutor dismisses criminal complaint against Aleksandar Vučić

The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office (VJT) in Belgrade has dismissed a criminal complaint against former Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić regarding his decisions on pardons. The prosecution concluded that Vučić did not commit any criminal offense, as his decisions were made in accordance with existing laws.

The complaint, filed by Milivojević, alleged that Vučić abused his official position through pardons issued prior to his resignation. Before stepping down, Vučić announced he had granted amnesty and pardons to 49 individuals, 23 of whom were linked to significant events in Serbia over the previous 18 months. This group included 12 members of the Novi Sad group, led by Milo Pajic.
