Serbia ranks among top Eurovision qualifiers as Canada gains full EBU membership

Eurovision organizers released statistics on the countries most frequently reaching the contest final. Ukraine leads with a 100% qualification rate, followed by Sweden, Greece and Norway. Serbia has qualified for the final 13 of 17 times, a 76% success rate equal to Armenia, placing it among the competition’s most successful participants.

In unrelated news for the contest, CBC/Radio‑Canada was approved as a full member of the European Broadcasting Union at the organization’s General Assembly in Prague. Full membership grants Canada the right to take part in future Eurovision Song Contests, although the broadcaster has not yet confirmed whether it will submit an entry.
