Serbia sees 98% consumer trust in digital payments

In Serbia, consumer trust in digital payments has reached 98%, according to the Visa Stay Secure study. Approximately 90% of citizens believe that new technologies make online shopping safer, signaling that e-commerce is becoming a standard part of daily life in the country.

Debit cards remain the most popular payment method among Serbian consumers. Additionally, over half of respondents express trust in digital wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay, while high levels of confidence are also reported for credit cards and bank transfers.
