Serbia to begin long-range ballistic missile production within one year
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced that Serbia plans to begin serial production of long-range ballistic missiles within one year. Speaking at the Serbia-Uzbekistan Business Fair, Vučić stated that while Serbia is prepared to launch the project independently, he has invited Uzbekistan to cooperate in the development and production of these weapons.
Vučić noted that the country is already producing short-range missiles and emphasized that the move toward long-range capabilities demonstrates significant technological and industrial progress. During his address, he consulted Nenad Miloradović, Assistant Minister of Defense for Material Resources, who confirmed that the one-year timeline for starting long-range production is realistic. Vučić highlighted that the Serbian defense sector is advancing by acquiring and transferring technologies to achieve these results.
