Serbia to invest €5 million in Partizan stadium reconstruction
The Serbian government is set to invest approximately five million euros into the reconstruction of the Partizan stadium in Belgrade. This initial funding, provided by the state budget, is expected to increase as work progresses. The upgrades are driven by the need to meet standards for the upcoming European Under-21 Championship, which Serbia and Albania will co-host next year.
Planned improvements include a complete reconstruction of the eastern stand, including VIP boxes and restrooms, as well as the renovation of locker rooms and the construction of a modern press center. Significant technical upgrades are also scheduled, such as the installation of four new floodlights, a complete replacement of the electrical grid dating back to the 1970s, and the installation of a modern hybrid grass pitch.
